Student-Athlete Spotlight-Antonio Johnson-Farrar

Antonio Johnson-Farrar from Germantown High School is our athlete Spotlight this month.
Just a few days ago, this freshman tennis player became a local hero.  On the way to catch his school bus at 6:30 am, he found an elder who had fallen.  He tried to help her up but she said it hurt too much.  Using his first aid training, Antonio called 911 and stayed with her for about 1 hour until the ambulance arrived, even though it meant he would miss his bus to school.
We are so proud of this young man’s kindness and compassion for a stranger.   Here at the SCIAA we expect our student athletes to be leaders and we celebrate the good citizens of tomorrow.
