Inclement weather unquestionably took over last year’s baseball and softball seasons, but Mother Nature was no match for our MIAA teams this 2011-2012 school year. The MIAA hosted the High School Baseball and Softball City Championships on May 1st.This two day event showcased our remarkably talented student –athletes .On May 2nd, twelve teams competed for City Champion. Congratulations to the following teams who took home the 2012 City Champion title: Softball- (A: Westwood, AA: Frayser, AAA: Kirby) and Baseball-(A: Booker T. Washington, AA: Fairley, AAA: Whitestation).
