Mission
The Shelby County Interscholastic Athletic Association, known as the SCIAA, is the structure in which all athletics in the Shelby County Schools System is encompassed and locally regulated. The SCIAA mission is to provide quality athletic environments and academic resources affording student-athletes, coaches, administrators and community the opportunity to grow socially, culturally and competitively by using sport as a vehicle to promote high standards of academic competence, character and citizenship.
