Again, this spring has offered up a challenge to beat the rain.
The SCIAA requests that all coaches of soccer, baseball, softball and tennis turn in updated schedules complete with scores. We are missing many scores and many reschedule dates for rained out games. Without these dates and results we cannot provide season updates for the SCIAA Championships.
High School Soccer Coaches should report an updated schedule complete with reschedule dates for rained-out matches and scores to Marcus Taylor at taylormj@scsk12.org.
Middle School Soccer Coaches should report an up to date schedule with reschedule dates for all rained-out matches and scores to Mark Herrington at MHerrin11@aol.com.
High School Baseball and Softball Coaches should report an updated schedule complete with reschedule dates and scores to Lecia Schluterman at schlutermanl@scsk12.org.
Middle School Baseball and Softball Coaches should report an updated schedule complete with reschedule dates and scores to Lou Stackley at alstackley@peoplepc.com.
Reminder that it is the home team’s responsibility to secure fields and umpires before reporting rescheduled games or matches.
High School Tennis Coaches should report all scores to Kelli Arena at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/TMGQW7H.

The SCIAA is proud to announce the date and location of the 2nd Annual Winter & spring Athletic Banquet of Champions. The Banquet will take place on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 7:30 pm at the Memphis Zoo.
All winter and spring SCIAA Champions will be invited to this awards ceremony to celebrate their great achievements in the winter and spring sports of Basketball, Bowling, Swimming, Wrestling, Tennis, Baseball, Softball, Soccer, and Track & Field. At this event, we also spotlight the Top Academic Scholar-Athlete selections from all SCIAA schools. These scholar athletes meet the criteria of high grade point average, exemplary conduct, and great sportsmanship. Athletic Directors, Coaches, and Principals collectively make a selection from each school to be honored by the SCIAA.
Marcus Taylor sent an email out to all Athletic Directors on Monday to request the Winter & Spring Academic Student-Athlete selection. The deadline to fill out the online form is April 8th, 2015. Look for your invitations in board mail in a few weeks. Additional tickets may be purchased at the door for $10.00.
