To end the night the battle was between Ridgeway and Havenview. From the tip off to the end the game, there was non-stop action. Neither team led by more than 5 points the entire game as they both competed hard on both ends of the court. The game came down to the final possession with 2.3 seconds on the clock and Havenview with the possession. Havenview had to go the full length of the court. Coming out of the timeout, the ball was inbounded to 8th grader William H. Carver who dribbled to half court, shot and hit the miraculous buzzer beater to help Havenview win the championship.
