The open local Pitch Hit Run competition is being held on Friday April 29, 2016
beginning at 6:00pm at Tobey Fields #2 and #3. Winners in each category and the over all
winner will advance to the sectional competition being held in Memphis May 6th .
THIS IS A FREE EVENT.
PITCH –will test haw accurately a competitor can throw strikes to a designated “Strike Zone”.
Baseball 45 feet and softball 35 feet. may throw underhanded or overhanded.
Hitting any portion of the target will count.
HIT – will test a competitor’s ability to hit from a stationary batting tee.
Hits will be measured for distance and accuracy.
RUN – will measure a competitors speed in a sprint from second base, touching third and
touching home. Base distance will be 60 feet.
